ADVANTAGES OF STAINLESS STEEL

  • Exceptionally light and strong compared with ceramic and fireclay wash troughs.
  • Stainless steel is tough and does not break on impact = vandal resistance + safety.
  • Hygienic. Biologically inert + smooth, non-porous surface = easy maintenance and minimal risk of bacterial growth.
  • Durable. Excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion = long service life.
  • Environmentally friendly. 100% recyclable, contributing to HQE standard requirements.

Rounded corner Pressed stainless steel waste with no seal Weld for perfect hygiene Flat bottom for a bucket Spout fixing for easy maintenance
Rounded corners to prevent injury on impact Pressed waste with no water retention or screws, for hygiene and easy cleaning High-quality welding. Inside angles greater than 90° Enough room for a bucket F1/2’’ stainless steel ring for fitting and removing the self-closing spout from the front = easy maintenance

In the food industry, wash troughs must meet hygiene and cleanability requirements. Standard EN 1672-2 states
that "no food residue should remain in small crevices, from which it is difficult or even impossible to remove". INTER basins are very well designed in this respect: there are no horizontal surfaces at the back and water is never held back (which would lead to the growth of micro-organisms).

In addition, the back and underside of the wash trough are designed so that dirty splashes (from cleaning the floor and wall, for example) cannot collect behind it.
The waste is laser-cut into the steel sheet, with no water retention. The inside corners are designed to be cleaned and disinfected effectively. The welds are smoothed, preventing biofilm from forming.
The standard material is AISI 304 stainless steel, which is sufficient for food industry applications.
The INTER-1 model complies with the guidelines applicable in the food industry and minimises microbiological and allergen risks.
